OUR NAME
Our journey to finding the perfect name for our practice was an exploration of our own experiences and trials of life. We experimented with numerous names, but none felt quite right. It was only after reflecting deeply on the often confusing and complex nature of life — that it is neither purely joyous nor solely painful, but a complex interplay of both; that we found our name, Just Feel Psychology.
We believe that moments of joy and suffering, each in their own way, contribute to the richness of our lives. Without these contrasts, life would lack texture and depth. Often, our most significant values and insights emerge from our experiences of pain and suffering. While rationalisation and logical thinking have their place, sometimes the path to understanding ourselves and what truly matters is through reading our emotional experiences to find the values hidden within. It is our view, that being present in this moment and existing on this earth is a profound gift, one that offers us the opportunity to experience emotions that connect us to the very essence of ourselves.
At Just Feel Psychology, we create a safe space for you to fully embrace your experiences, finding balance between thinking and feeling. By doing so, you can navigate through challenges to discover your authentic self and what genuinely matters to you. Our mission is to help you build a harmonious life, moving towards what fulfils you.
Sometimes, life throws unexpected challenges our way causing logic and reason to abandon us, sometimes we can’t think our way out of a problem, and at those times you need to allow yourself to Just Feel.
